If this sounds appealing to you, we have three hidden camping sites located just a short five-minute stroll from the main site. Do keep in mind that due to a temporary glitch on the website, all bookings will need to be made via phone.

The Allure of Wild Camping

Wild camping means stepping away from screens and immersing yourself in the beauty of nature. The River Deveron flows mere meters from the main site, adding to the charm of this experience. Its banks are ideal for peaceful walks, where you might even spot local wildlife, such as deer or various bird species. For a delightful afternoon, pack a picnic and find a quiet nook to unwind while soaking in the beauty around you.

Riverside wild camping will take your breath away. Nestled right beside the River Deveron, you can pitch your tent under a canopy of trees, balancing sun and shade perfectly. If you crave a deeper connection with nature, this is your ideal destination.

You might also gather around a campfire in the evening for stories and marshmallow roasting under the stars—an unforgettable way to end the day.

For those who find joy in open spaces, this Meadow is the perfect choice. This site sits in a lush meadow decorated with wildflowers, offering a vibrant experience.

Bring along a sketchbook to capture the dance of the flowers in bloom. Early mornings are an excellent time for birdwatching, where you can see species like skylarks and swallows that abound in the area throughout spring and summer.
